E S Industries' adjustable props are heavy-duty, steel telescopic supports used in construction for temporary vertical support of beams, slabs, and walls. They work by having an outer and an inner pipe that can be adjusted to the desired height and locked in place with a cast iron nut and pin, providing stable and economical support for various formwork and repair jobs. Key features Construction and Material: Made from 'B' class M.S. Steel pipe, with the outer pipe typically being 50NB (60.3mm OD) and the inner pipe 40NB (48.3mm OD). Adjustability: The height is adjusted by sliding the inner pipe in or out and locking it with a malleable cast-iron nut and a high-tensile steel 'G' pin for coarse adjustment. Top and Bottom Plates: Both top and bottom plates are made of 6mm thick MS plates, often 150x150mm or 125x125mm, with a beam-headed option for specialized support. Corrosion Protection: They undergo a multi-step process including degreasing, de-rusting, zinc phosphate coating, and are then painted with a co-polymer paint or dip-painted for corrosion resistance. Load Capacity: E S Industries' standard adjustable props can support up to 2 tons. Applications: Used to support concrete slabs, beams, and walls during construction, as well as for temporary support of lintels, brickwork, and steel beams during repair work.
